PREGNANCY CARE
BTPM provides one to one individualised midwifery care. Consultations are offered within the relaxing and calm clinic space (no waiting rooms) or within your home.

All appointments have adequate time to enable and support informed decision making to optimise care for you.

BTPM care includes phone support 7 days a week, extensive labour, birth and postpartum planning, Acuneedling services and access to resources such as a library of books, a birth sling and TENS machine hire for 5 weeks for $40.

"Get To Know You" Consultation

This 60-90 minute once off consultation is usually the first appointment or following an initial antenatal consultation. It involves a comprehensive assessment of your medical, pregnancy and family history, risk screening, review of blood tests and ultrasound results as well as education and antenatal review. An individualised care pathway is then created and any referrals made for optimal care.
Pregnancy Care Consultation

A 45-60 minute comprehensive pregnancy consultation in the clinic space along with education, support and any blood test or ultrasound referrals and follow-up required.
Labour & Birth Planning
2 x 2 hr Consultations
This service provides extensive labour and/or birth education & preparation. We discuss options and pathways to create preferences and a "birth map" that line up with your desires and values. I also focus on postnatal planning, aiding a smoother transition into motherhood. This includes techniques to nourish and support your mental health and motherhood transition, breastfeeding/feeding education, along with education about your new little person in the first few months of life. Your partner/support persons are encouraged to attend to develop ways to support and nurture you during labour and/or birth and the postpartum time. Labour and birth planning is conducted over two 2 hr consultations around 31 and 34 weeks. For BTPM clients the 1st consultation is bulk billed and the 2nd consultation is $200 attracting a $51.75 medicare rebate. For non BTPM clients each consultation is $350 and attracts $51.75 medicare rebate for each consultation.
Acuneedling in Pregnancy
45-60 mins
Medicare Rebate available for BTPM clients
Acuneedling consultations go for approximately 45-60 minutes. At the beginning on the consultation we discuss your medical & pregnancy history and any concerns or ailments you may be experiencing. The treatment itself is approximately 20 mins of ‘needles in’ time during which you will sit or lay comfortably and relax. I may also incorporate moxibustion, during your appointment depending on what is required. COST - $75 for Acuneedling session only in the BTPM clinic space - $95 for Acuneedling session only within your home - $150 for Acuneedling session plus pregnancy consultation within the BTPM clinic space - $170 for Acuneedling session plus pregnancy consultation within your home **$51.75 medicare rebate available for BTPM clients
POSTPARTUM CARE
BTPM postpartum care is about supporting the mother baby pair and family through the fourth trimester. All appointments have adequate time to encourage and support postpartum growth.
I ensure all care is 100% individualised to meet yours and your baby’s needs. The cost includes all elements of postpartum care such as mum and baby checks, feeding and matrescence support.

This 90-minute consultation aims to put in place strong foundations for the postpartum time. This consultation can be done anytime throughout pregnancy. We discuss breastfeeding in the first few days and weeks, physical recovery, nornal newborn behaviour, mental health preparation for parents and how to build your support system to enable rest and recovery. We also highlight some important discussion points to have with each other and the people supporting you during this time. this consultation also includes an antenatal check of you and baby. *To arrange a time for this consultation/s you can call or complete a contact form on the website.

NEUROPROTECTIVE DEVELOPMENTAL CARE
The NDC Approach
NDC focuses on a relaxed approach to feeding and sleeping using cued care. It challenges a lot of popular advice parents receive in regard to feeding, sleeping and settling your little person.
Unlike other approaches, NDC uniquely acknowledges the interrelatedness of breastfeeding, sleep, baby’s sensory-motor and social needs, cry-fuss behaviours and how each impacts upon parent mood.

Initial NDC Consultation
​​$150 CLINIC/$180 HOME
A 60 minute comprehensive consultation to discuss and implement strategies to help with breastfeeding difficulties, unsettled infant behaviour, infant sleep difficulties and parental mental health. This consultation is individualised with plenty of time to talk about feeding, sleep and your parenting journey. We create a plan that aligns with your families values and goals. A follow up appointment is encouraged within 2 weeks.
Follow-up NDC Consultation

A 30 or 60 minute follow up appointment to review progress and provide support with the implemented strategies.
